Some say writing is the most noble form of self-expression. Those people are pretentious and haven't read the right limericks, apparently. Like anything though, its a matter of perspective.

Nobility notwithstanding, I love writing because of the inherent variety . A writer can be a poet, a journalist, a critic, an author, or a musician, all in the same day, if they were so inclined. I'd like to see an interpretive dancer with that kind of range.

And because I love writing, writing is what I do. I write for my bread, and I write for myself. My desk drawers are split evenly between advertising notes and half-started novels.

About me:
I graduated from a college. I've worked at a bunch of places, most of which I loved. I lived in Berlin for a while. I once assumed a German alias to crash an exclusive birthday party. I am blind in my left eye. I have all 198 world capitals memorized. I was born in January, am five feet, eight inches tall, and like music. My favorite color is indigo. I have no favorite number. Numbers are for Bolsheviks and other undesirables.
